Bikeshow & Expo and Custombike Show
Last month, we participated in two trade exhibitions: BigTwin Bikeshow & Expo in Houten (7–9 November 2025) and the Custombike Show in Bad Salzuflen (28–30 November 2025). Both exhibitions were a great success, and we were welcomed with great enthusiasm!

We had the same goals for both exhibitions: to show that we are here as a new, innovative brand and to gauge the market's response. Is there sufficient demand for our product, and is Tulmo therefore viable as a brand?

The conclusion was clear: we were received with great enthusiasm by visitors and had many interesting conversations with potential customers, suppliers and partners. As a result, we have decided to go full throttle with this venture!

The main theme at the German exhibition was the demand for TÜV-approved rims. We have therefore set this as our goal for the coming year! In addition, we will continue to build the Tulmo brand and continue to develop our products.

Motorbike Expo Verona

At the BigTwin Bikeshow in Houten, we came into contact with El Lobo Cycles from the UK. They are building two show bikes, which they will be exhibiting at the Motorbike Expo in Verona, Italy. One of these show bikes will feature Tulmo wheels, with a 21‘ x 2.50 front wheel and 16’ x 3.00 rear wheel, and the spoke design that was also on display at our exhibition stand.

A call to all visitors going to the Motorbike Expo Verona: check out the Tulmo rims on the El Lobo Cycles bikes and send us your photos!

Prototype V2
Speaking of product development, prototype V1 still had a few areas for improvement, which led us to develop prototype V2. The parts for this prototype arrived just before the exhibitions and were on display at our stand. Visitors to the trade fair were able to admire the rims and were very enthusiastic about them! Everyone was also very enthusiastic about the spoke design of prototype V1 (Romagna model). We will therefore be adding these to our range as well.

Fast forward to last week: we have now inspected the parts for Proto V2 and assembled them with liquid sealant. The next step is to fit the tyres and test them for airtightness and assembly in the motorbike. As mentioned earlier, our test motorbike is a Husqvarna Nuda 900, so this promises to be quite a spectacle!
