The rise of modular wheels engineering
Tulmo was built on a simple idea: technical limits shouldn’t dictate how your bike looks or feels. What started in 2013 as a project to reinvent motorcycle wheels from the ground up, has grown into a specialized engineering studio. Based in the Netherlands, we live for the challenge of making things fit that weren’t supposed to.
Founded by Leon, a mechanical engineer who traded industrial machine design for the precision of motorcycle wheels, Tulmo is where high-end design meets the reality of the workshop. We’ve spent years prototyping and developing modular systems, and we use that experience to help builders across Europe integrate iconic wheels into their machines. Whether it's a vintage racer, a rugged off-roader, or a clean custom build, we bridge the gap between the parts you want and the bike you have.
Since 2022, we’ve been refining our approach, using our technical database and modular experience to solve the puzzles that stop most builds. At Tulmo, we don’t just ship parts; we provide the engineering to overcome complex fitment issues. No magic, no guesswork. Just solid work to ensure your setup is safe, balanced, and ready to hit the road.

Jan 2026 The first ordered wheelset is personaly delivered to our client in England.
Nov 2025 We attended 2 exhibitions; BigTwin Bikeshow, Houten and Custombike Show, Bad Salzuflen
Aug 2025 After reviewing and testing the first prototype, we've ordered our second prototype.
Apr 2025 We've ordered our first prototype. Now it becomes tangible
Jan 2024 Continuing on development of the wheels and Tulmo brand
Nov 2023 Letting the world know we’re out there, and creating brand awareness
Oct 2023 Market research, the Tulmo brand is detailed
